La teduglutida es un an\u00e1logo sint\u00e9tico de 33 amino\u00e1cidos del GLP-2 humano, modificado en un amino\u00e1cido para resistir la descomposici\u00f3n enzim\u00e1tica y prolongar su actividad. Al reflejar estructuralmente la regi\u00f3n intestino-tr\u00f3fica del GLP-2, se une a los receptores del GLP-2 en las c\u00e9lulas enteroendocrinas y las neuronas ent\u00e9ricas, promoviendo la liberaci\u00f3n de factores de crecimiento que estimulan el crecimiento de la mucosa, mejoran la superficie intestinal, aumentan el flujo sangu\u00edneo intestinal y reducen la motilidad y la secreci\u00f3n g\u00e1stricas. La teduglutida se utiliza para mejorar la absorci\u00f3n de nutrientes en pacientes con s\u00edndrome de intestino corto y para ayudar a reducir la dependencia de la nutrici\u00f3n parenteral.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
