A tirzepatide \u00e9 um novo agonista do recetor duplo do polipept\u00eddeo insulinotr\u00f3pico dependente da glicose (GIP) e do pept\u00eddeo-1 semelhante ao glucagon (GLP-1). Em condi\u00e7\u00f5es fisiol\u00f3gicas normais, ap\u00f3s a ingest\u00e3o de alimentos, o intestino liberta as hormonas end\u00f3genas GIP e GLP-1, que promovem a secre\u00e7\u00e3o de insulina, suprimem o apetite, atrasam o esvaziamento g\u00e1strico e aumentam a saciedade. A tirzepatide imita as ac\u00e7\u00f5es destas hormonas naturais, activando os receptores GIP e GLP-1 no organismo.<\/p>\n
